Last updated 1 year ago

The backlog is a list of issues that are ready for work and could enter into an upcoming sprint. Each workspace can have one backlog.

In Hurdle, you can configure conditions for your backlog under Settings > Workspace > Backlog. Issues that match these conditions will be automatically added to the backlog, while those that don't won't be included.

Backlog conditions

Backlog conditions can be configured based on:

  • Issue status: Issues that have a specific status (for example, Ready for work) will be included in the backlog.

Only issues with a of "New" or "Ready" can appear in the backlog.

  • Requiring an estimate: If this condition is enabled, issues will require an estimate to be added to the backlog.

  • Requiring an assignee: If this condition is enabled, issues will require an assignee to be added to the backlog.

  • Activity range: If this condition is enabled, only issues that have been created or updated within the specified time period will be included in the backlog. Issues that fall outside the activity range will be automatically removed from the backlog.

Issues that are open but do not meet the conditions for your backlog will show up in your team's . There, your team can add the missing details, snooze issues, or close/cancel them.
