Step one when creating your workspace is configuring general settings. Afterwards, you can configure these under Settings > Workspace > General.

Workspace name

This can be the name of your team, department or company. A workspace name can be changed at any time.

Subdomain

By default, your subdomain will be your workspace name or a variation of your workspace name (if your exact workspace name is not available).

For example, if your workspace name is Team A, your subdomain would be https://teama.hurdle.dev. This is the domain that all of your users would use to log in to your workspace.

Your subdomain can be changed at any time, but no two workspaces can have the same subdomain.

Super administrator

Each workspace will have one designated super administrator. This user will have all permissions – they'll be able to configure settings, add/remove users, set up integrations, delete the workspace, etc.

By default, the super administrator will be the user who creates the workspace, but they can be changed at any time.

Issue prefix

The issue prefix is a short (up to 4 characters) code that will precede your issue numbers. For example, if your issue prefix is HUR, your issues will be labelled HUR-1, HUR-2, HUR-3, etc. Your issue prefix can be changed at any time.

If your workspace is , your issue prefix will be mapped to what exists in Jira and will not be editable in Hurdle.
