Projects

Projects define larger pieces of work that have a clear goal, such as launching a new feature. Projects are typically made up of a set of issues.

Creating a project

Projects can be created from any screen within Hurdle, by clicking on the arrow option next to the Create issue button, and then Create project.

Updating a project

All projects within a project can be viewed within the Projects section, accessible from the sidebar, in a table or list view. To update or edit a project (add issues, comments, edit properties, etc), click into the project from the table or list.

Each project will have a set of fields associated with it.

The status of the project. The state is set by Hurdle and depends on the status of the issues within the project. If no issues are started, the state will be "To-do". If there are In progress issues, the state will be "Active". If all issues are closed, the state will be "Closed"

Adding issues to a project

Issues can be created and added to a project directly from the project view, by navigating to the Issues tab on the Project card and clicking + Quick add issues.

Existing issues can also be added to a project by selecting the desired project in the Project field on an issue card.

Deleting a project

To delete a project, click into the project from the projects table or list, click on the additional options link at the top right, and select Delete project.

Deleting a project is permanent. Deleted projects cannot be restored.

Projects can be viewed in a table view, and users have the ability to customize the columns that are shown. To view additional information, such as the issues in the project, users can click into each.
Projects can also be viewed in a list view, alongside all details in one pane.
