Workstreams enable teams to segment their backlog into defined streams that are easier to manage and prioritize.

For example, you could have defined workstreams for new features, bugs and improvements, or you can have a workstream for short-term priorities and another for future-looking items.

Workstreams are made up of issues from your backlog. If an issue is not in the backlog, it cannot appear in a workstream.

Workstreams can be enabled under Settings > Workspace > Workstreams. There, you can also configure which user types have the ability to create, manage, prioritize and share workstreams.

Learn more about the value of workstreams, how they impact sprint planning, and how to create, manage, prioritize and share them, in .
